Stay at Home Mom!

Yes, it's true I am now a stay at home mom. Like so many others out there I lost my job with Belk. No worries folks, it's a positive move for my Pampered Chef business and for my time with my girls. I am so excited about being home and doing some fun things with them. It will be an adjustment but I am looking at this as a change in my life for the better.

Maybe now I can keep up with my blog! ha! Wait, I still don't know how to Change my background. Marianne, I need your help!!

Okay these pictures are from my first two days home with Mackenzie. Maybe I need to rethink this stay at home thing!

Holiday Fun

Over the month of December we had Nana here with us. Uncle Jason and Aunt CaCa (Jessica) came to visit too. We went to Christmas festivals with friends, drove through a Christmas light town, had a Christmas Party, made a gingerbread castle, and enjoyed being around everyone we love. I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season. Even though I am late with the updates and the Thank You cards, we had a great time. Bring on the 2009!! It's going to be a great year!!

New Years at the March's

We rang in the New Year with our best buddies in Atlanta. Kooper and Mackenzie really missed each other. We have to get these guys together more often.

Hanna Montanna

We went to Libby Lu's before they closed down and they treated Mackenzie like a princess. They did her nails, face and hair. Then they gave her a wig like Hanna Montanna and lots of goodies to go along with the outfit. I have to say Mackenzie was a rock star!

Christmas Morning

I've been so busy the last two months that I haven't kept up with my blog. So here is my attempt to catch everyone up.
This was Christmas morning with the girls and Nana. We had such a great day, really enjoyed each other and RELAXED all day.

Birthday (last one)

The concept of presents is still new to Campbell, but Mackenzie was sure to
help explain how it works.
We couldn't get her to dive into the cupcakes, but she has found a new favorite candy... Gumdrops! Later this week we were decorating Gingerbread men and she dove over the table for the bowl of gumdrops.

All the kids loved the music and was so happy to help teach Campbell how to "shake shake shake her silly's out"!

Birthday (part 2)

I don't think any of the kids had fun, it sure doesn't look like it!

We also had a music teacher come and sing some songs and play some music games with the kids. Everyone was so jumping and singing to the music. Campbell was mesmerized by the music. She clapped her hands, beat the drums and had a great time being with all of her friends.

I thought this was so cute, Campbell and Mackenzie drawing together.

Finally Campbell meets Reilly, soon they can have a play date the really involves playing.
