Splish Splash Anniversary!!

Five Years of Bliss!!! Scott and I have been married for 5 years and together 10. WOW, I can't believe it. Since the beginning of our relationship we have always had fun so what better way to celebrate 5 years of marriage than to go White Water Rafting. We are so lucky to have the US National White Water Center in our Backyard. This center was built for Olympic training. Two thumbs up for this wild ride, as you can see from the pictures we had a blast!
When Nick our guide would yell "Get Down" we were supposed to get down in the bottom of the raft so we wouldn't fall out. Scott thought the quickest way down was to go backwards????
This is what our Guide called "Surfing." Funny thing is we are supposed to keep paddling during this "surfing' session. Are you kidding me, I was trying to keep from drowning and falling out!
It didn't work!! Out I went. No worries, I was a trooper even with the other rafts going over my head!! I had to climb on wall to get out of the water with someone pulling me by a rope, then go down some rocks to get back in my raft. As you can see Scott wasn't worried, I think he may have pushed me out!!

ALL in all, we had the greatest time together!! We laughed so hard we swalloed a lot of water during our run. If anyone wants to go do this with us we are in, anytime!!

So many people ask us how did a Boston boy meet a Georgia girl,
so I thought I would share our story:

Girl went dancing in West Palm Beach, Fl at the "Monkey Club". Boy was on the side lines staring at girl ( he says he was just staring into space, but I know he was looking at me).
Girl pointed to him and said "are you going to dance or what?" Boy looked behind him to see if girl was talking to him or not. "yes, you!" After some pretty lame dance moves boy asked for a ride home (his buddy was leaving him and of course he wanted to stay with his new love.) Girl took boy home ( she would NEVER have agreed to take a stranger home, but she did this time.) After a quick bathroom break for the girl, Boy wrote the name "Leslie" down on a piece of paper waiting for her to give her number. (by the way he was so proud he remembered my name!)
Girl came out and said who is "Leslie" boy said "that's you!!" No, my name is Misty. Quick thinking boy said well what's my name. Misty said proudly "Sean"!! Well, Scott laughed and as they say the rest is history!!
I fell in love over a Caesar salad. (a year later we ordered a salad and he cut it up for me, I only like my salads chopped, the fact that he noticed that and did it without asking sent my heart a pounding.) We lived long distance for 3 years and together for 2 years and finally 5 years after we meet he proposed!!! I love you, honey!!!! You are the best thing that ever happen to me. Thank you for my two beautiful girls and for always loving me no matter what crazy thing I am into. Your the BEST!!! Looking forward to many more happy, crazy and wild times.

Fun on the rides at Broadway

This could have been an official date between the two of these guys, but shouldn't Kooper have his arm around Mackenzie?? Mackenzie is always making the first moves. How proud we are.

Even more...

Mackenzie's Prince Charming. (well one of them).
Mackenzie was afraid of the pool this year, but we couldn't keep her from the ocean. She loved jumping the waves, she giggled everytime.
Two peas in a pod.
I was very impressed at how well Kooper golfed, I think the daddy's dreams of Mackenzie being a golfer might be on hold.

More from Myrtle...

Looking good boys!!!
I can't say that I love this picture, but I don't think I got another shot of Dana and myself on this trip. We were the ones taking all the pictures, so this is just proof that we were there. he he
Lunch time on the beach, what could be more perfect!
I thought this was funny, both of our men came out with the same outfit!!
HA HA, Can you guess which one of the three is actually pregnant?
This makes me laugh.

Myrtle Beach May 2008

My two girls are just growing up so fast I can't believe it!
We go to Myrtle Beach every year with our great friends Dana, Pete, and of course "Pooper" aka Kooper.

I love watching Scott with the girls!

Some more May fun.

Sorry the picture is sideways, but I just had to share that Campbell Found her feet!!

"they taste better than that stinky rice cereal mom keeps giving me"

It was Hula day at School so of course the girls had to dress the part!

One of our neighbors (Ava) had a dance recital and since Mackenzie loves ballerina's and princesses I thought this would be a great Mommy and daughter date. It is official that we will be putting Mackenzie in Dance class this year she danced every move the dancers did in the aisles!

It was truly special to see her love something so much and I must say she was pretty good at imitating all the moves. Look out Nutcracker!!
