Birthday Party Sunday

Ms. Priss in all her glory. Mackenzie snuck in a bag I had hidden with some items I borrowed from the Baby Bundles collection and put this headband on. I chased her around the house to get it back and she looked at me and said "you can't get me mommy, I am fast". This can only mean trouble for me in the near future.
We had two parties today and managed to juggle them both. First we had Liana's party a friend from school. They had a great time in the Wild West theme.
Campbell rode the horsey while big sis, put on her cowgirl hat and bandanna, panned for gold, played cops and robbers, and painted wooden horseshoes. What a great theme for a party, they had lots of fun.

Then we were off to Romans 3rd birthday.
Everyone got to dress up in their "conductor's" uniform. Another great place for birthday parties. They did it all, colored backpacks, face painting, hop scotch, dancing and more.

This was a fun crowd of kids. It looked like everyone of all ages had a blast.
Time to make a train and follow the leader, they were off to "Music Mountain" to find the magic candles.
Good thing they found those candles or else Mackenzie and Scott would have not gotten CAKE!!
Happy Birthday Roman! We had a blast.

More October fun at the Halloween Hoot

Before we headed to our neighborhoods Halloween Festival we had Mackenzie's Gymnastics class. Campbell loves to watch her big sister tumble around. I am sure she can't wait until she can do it too.
Look how good she is doing in class. Sleeping Beauty and our little Fairy Princess had a great time at the festival. Mackenzie got her face painted, painted pumpkins, and ate lots of goodies.
Campbell loved Mr. Frank reading ghost stories.
I know I will look back on this one day and wonder where did the time go.
My little Fairy Princess, oh how cute she is.

October Happenings

Movie night with the Baur clan. I think tonight's selection stars Ariel.
That the reindeer is getting smaller by the day.
Pumpkin Picking. We had a blast, the kids found their way through the maze and down the slides. (Several times of course)
You can never go wrong with a hayride and sing-a-long songs. Here is Andrew and Mary Mac with Mackenzie singing "when your happy and your know it clap your hands".
The young kids loved being pushed by their Big Sisters.

Mackenzie and Campbell sitting on the haystack at the pumpkin patch. I am not sure if Mackenzie is happy to be here or not, can you tell?
I know they all had to go the bathroom at this point, but I had to snap this picture by the measuring scarecrow.
Two things I have found Campbell just loves; Dancing and Swinging!! She giggled the entire time.

Here is Campbell's Buddy Emma. They had so much fun swinging together.

Apple Picking with the Berewick Parents Club

Roman and Mackenzie sitting in a tree.... okay it's a bench but you see how cute they are.
Hayride fun, oh yeah, oh yeah.
The club got to make a scarecrow, all of the kids had so much fun. This is Molly sitting with Mackenzie and her mom Elaine. Sebastian and Sienna were also having a blast stuffing this poor guy. We are passing the scarecrow around every few days and will add a special touch to it for the season.
When they said apple picking, I thought we would be plucking apples from a tree not a bucket. But I think for the kids this was a better idea. They had some yummy apple pies and cider too.
Yes, Campbell was there too! See she's peaking around saying "Hey over here, look at me". Daddy was at a Corn Hole tournament so he didn't join us this time.

New Bike

It's not Christmas, but it's time to get Mackenzie on a bike. Daddy loves putting things together, he he.
WOW, she looks like such a big girl on her big girl bike. She's not a baby girl anymore.
I just love watching my family together. These are the moments that are so close to the heart.

Ballet, Soccor, and Gymnastics

We have started Mackenzie in some fun activities this season. I think Ballet is her favorite because that looks the most like a "Princess". I think she did have fun trying other sports.
Mackenzie's friend Roman invited her to his soccor class last Saturday. It was "bring a friend" day. Mackenzie was going for goal here. Although, I thought she didn't really like the sport as soon as we got in the car she asked me if she could do that again. What do I know?
Today we tried Gymnastics. It looked grim in the beginning, but as soon as they started doing flips and work on the balance beam Mackenzie looked like she was in her element. We signed her up for a few classes. Future Gold Medalist? Maybe.

Ballet is her most favorite thing to do every week. She loves this class and her friend Isabella is in it with her. Mackenzie comes home dancing around the house and shows us all her new moves. My most favorite moment is watching Scott watch her. He is so proud of her! She listens to the Ms. Laura very intently and does everything she says.

Dicky Memories

This was the picture I was referenced in the last posting. These two pictures were from my wedding rehersal, I came across them last weekend and it just made me think about all the great times I had with Dicky. He was such an incredible guy.
